Papillon de la Famille des Lycaenidae Nom vernaculaire : Le Thécla du chêne. Taille : LAA = 13 à 15 mm. Habitat : Lisières, bois clairs de chênes jusqu'à 1500 m. Période de vol : de juin à août en une génération. Plantes hôtes : Divers chênes (Quercus). Répartition : Toute la France, mais passe souvent inaperçu. Statut : Assez présent en France.
