Papillon de la Famille des Lycaenidae Nom vernaculaire : Le bel Argus. L'Azuré bleu-céleste. Taille : LAA = 14 à 17 mm. Habitat : Prairies maigres et pelouses sèches jusqu'à 2000 m, en général en milieu calcaire. Période de vol : Mai à Septembre en 2 générations. Plantes hôtes : Fabacées (Hippocrepis, Anthyllis.). Hiverne à l'état larvaire (L2). Répartition : Toute la France. Statut : Répandu et abondant sur ses biotopes. En net recul dans le Nord de la France.
